Oversight of the Alma Public Schools breakfast, lunch, and after-school snack programs is provided by the United States Department of Agriculture, and is locally administered through the Michigan Department of Education/Nutriton Programs division and Mid-Michigan District Health Department..

The identity of students who received free or reduced-price meals is confidential.  When a student obtains a meal no one is able to tell if they are eligibile for these benefits.
