Hillcrest Elementary has taken on a theme for the last several school years, and this year the building is BLASTING OFF as Hillcrest Space Station! The theme is a great way to create excitement in the building and tie in year long activities! From the different decorations in the hallways, to the events, and activities, the space theme makes Hillcrest a great place to be!
Previously, the building has had a camping theme and a Disney theme. Each spring, the incoming third graders get to pick the theme for the year. The space theme won a close vote and we are glad that it did! There will be many really neat activities throughout the year on our journey!
