Allison Wing is the District Staff Spotlight this week! She is an Instructional Paraprofessional at Hillcrest Elementary and has worked here for four years. Her favorite part about work is the great staff at Hillcrest!
She enjoys getting to know the kiddos each year; chatting with them at recess and in the lunchroom! The best part of each year is seeing kids progress from the start of the year to the end of the year. She loves those “aha!” moments.
Mrs. Wing and her husband have 3 kids that are very active in sports. Whether it’s inside, outside, on a field, or on a court, you’ll find them watching our kids play the sports they love! She also enjoys watching birds and putting puzzles together when she isn't on the go.
They also have a spoiled beagle named Lola, and she loves taking her for walks.
A unique fact about Mrs. Wing is she cannot stand pumpkin pie! However, she loves pumpkin rolls and pumpkin spice lattes.
Her favorite quote is probably her best advice- “The days are long, but the years are short.”
