Michigan state law requires that school districts have on file written consent from physicians for administering prescription medications, including inhalers and Epi pens. Michigan law also requires parents to bring in over the counter medication needed by the student, including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Rolaids, etc. The forms for both prescription and over the counter medications may be picked up in the Guidance Office. A parent is required to bring in all medication.
