Today we celebrated the 100th day of school! The building was full of fun, laughter, and learning all around the number 100. One of my favorite days of the year!
As we approach single digit temperatures over the next few days, please make sure students are coming to school bundled up!! These are the school guidelines for outside recess.
Based on the information collected in our last survey, there is significant interest in Alma Public Schools offering daycare. Please understand that daycare is different than before and after-school care. Alma Public Schools is moving forward with after-school care options as soon as this year and will provide information as soon as the program is developed. Alma High School will be hosting the Alma Police Department for a training this afternoon. Please do not be alarmed by the police vehicles outside the building. This training will occur both inside a classroom and outside in the parking lot.

You are a STEM Star! Jolene Aylor was nominated and has been selected as a 2023 STEM Star from Saginaw Valley State University. She will receive a $250 mini grant to use to enhance STEM education in her Preschool classroom. Congratulations Mrs. Aylor!

Alma Public Schools has received Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER) to address learning recovery from the impact of COVID-19. These funds are designed for one-time or short-term expenditures to address the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
Alma Public Schools is seeking feedback from all district and community stakeholders to help determine how the district should best utilize ESSER III funds to address unfinished learning and COVID-19 recovery.
