Luce Road is excited to welcome Mrs. Hancock to the team!
Mrs. Hancock has taken on the role of MTSS Coordinator at Luce Road and will be working to support students and staff in various ways as APS strengthens systems of academic and behavioral supports. We are thankful for her expertise and look forward to having her in the building!

Mrs. Barnaby will be moving to the role of Literacy Coach at Luce Road this upcoming school year! She will helping our staff and students with the implementation of the new English Language Arts program, Bookworms. She will work closely with the literacy coaches at Hillcrest and Pine Avenue as we continue strengthening systems and instruction at APS! Congratulations Mrs. Barnaby!
We would like to thank the Gratiot/Isabella RESD, Mercantile Bank of Michigan, and The United Way for donating to all our first graders a Summer Adventure Kit to help prevent the summer slide! Have a great summer!!

We have been enjoying the Sunshine for our PTO Fun Day!! Kids have been participating in fun activities like chalk, bubbles, relay races, parachuting, and playground time!!
Today is our PTO Fun Day!! Your student will be spending half the day outside! Please be sure to send them with a water bottle and apply sunscreen if needed!! It’s sure to be a good time!!
Thank you to Officer Mueller and the Alma Police Department for coming to teach safety rules to our first graders this year! We enjoyed our time with you and Blue!

STEAM days are great days for us to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! the kids get a chance to learn about different habitats, animals, food, and buildings. We ❤️ STEAM days!!

Today was transition day! Our first grade friends took a trip to Hillcrest to see what it will be like in 2nd grade and Kindergarten friends got visit a 1st grade class!
Today was the last day for our GSRP Preschoolers. We hope they have a great summer and we look forward to them coming back in the fall as kindergarteners!!! 🐾🧡🖤🐾

A special THANK YOU to Duhadway Dance Dimensions in Alma for coming to teach the top raising 1st grade and kindergarten classes a dance class! The kids really enjoyed it!!
