Pine Avenue Elementary School

As we look back on July, we are proud of all the learning, exploration, and fun our Panther Cubs students experienced throughout the month. Students enjoyed Water Days, explored the cultures and traditions of Brazil, Egypt, Russia, and Japan, participated in hands-on activities, and spent time outdoors enjoying the beautiful summer weather. We were also happy to welcome Miss Lynn back to our program.

This week, students learned about Japan by creating lanterns, exploring cultural traditions, and sharing their enthusiasm for Pokémon through card trading and friendly games. It was a wonderful week filled with creativity, friendship, and learning.

Next week, we will conclude our Around the World summer adventure with a visit to Mexico. It will also be our final week with our school-age summer care students before they return to school. We look forward to celebrating a fantastic summer and making a few more memories together before the school year begins.

Thank you to our families for sharing your children with us this summer. We have loved watching them learn, grow, and create lasting friendships.

🐾We had a FUN last day to wrap up an AWESOME school year at Pine Ave. Elementary! Our staff made the day a huge success, bringing enthusiasm and encouraging signs (and in a couple cases, their funny inflatable costumes!) to cheer on our students!🐾

🌟Our 5th graders walked through the halls one last time before heading to Donald L. Pavlik Middle School in the fall! It was so special to see our young Panthers celebrate this exciting milestone! We know there are great things in store for our soon-to-be 6th graders! 🌟

Our students' differences are what make them uniquely themselves and AWESOME. Our trimester awards do a wonderful job reminding us of that! Our Summer School program is right around the corner, and we’re excited to offer students a fun, engaging way to keep their skills growing. This year’s sessions will blend hands‑on learning, small‑group support, and plenty of opportunities to explore new interests.
