Mrs. Ferguson's students are engaged in partner work. Scholars are using coordinates to create a volcano map to visualize the Ring of Fire during our Birth of Rocks Science Mystery Lesson.
Pine Avenue students will kicks off its Anti-Bullying Campaign with an Anti-Bullying Spirit Week.
November is Homeless Awareness Month, and Pine Avenue wants to bring awareness of housing insecurity and homelessness within our communities. We are partnering with United Way to raise money for Gratiot County Hope House through a coin war challenge called “Coins for a Cause”!
United Way is committed to matching all funds raised (up to $10,000), so now’s your chance to double your donation! Students can bring in their spare change during November. The classroom that raises the most money will win a pizza party from United Way!

Mr. Taylor’s fifth grade scholars are writing adventure stories as part of Bookworms curriculum.
Fifth grade scholars at Pine Avenue Elementary went on a field trip to Anderson and Girls Orchard. Scholars made connections to science food chains, creating an ultimate food chain of all the animals at Anderson and Girls.
Students in Mrs. Fornusek's class participate in Anderson and Girls Field Trip.

We are excited to host our first Parent Teacher Connection Night on Friday, October 13, 2023. All parents are welcome to attend the Open House classroom visit at 4:00-5:00 P.M. and Parent Seminars focusing on Reading/ELA, Mathematics, and MTSS/PBIS at 5:00-5:45 P.M. and 6:00-6:45 P.M.
