Alma High School will be hosting the Alma Police Department for a training this afternoon. Please do not be alarmed by the police vehicles outside the building. This training will occur both inside a classroom and outside in the parking lot.

I would like to introduce Dr. Kathy Konowalow as our new Pine Avenue Principal. Her first day will be Monday, January 9th. Dr. Konowalow spent time today in the building meeting staff and students and looks forward to getting to know her new APS family.

Science and engineering is embedded in literacy! Our 5th grade scholars are learning about the Wright brothers and the first days of flight. Through the discovery process, scholars built and tested their own airplanes in the hallway.
