8th grade history classes got a lesson in local history from the Wright House Restoration Society. Pat Benson, Linda Luneack and Pat Clark helped students explore the local contributions of Ammi Wright and learned about the renovations that are currently underway at the Wright House. DLPMS's CSO students are in Chicago! The students spent the morning at the Field Museum. They had a behind the scenes tour of the museum with one of the museum's entomologists. They spent the afternoon exploring Chicago's Magnificent Mile and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Mr. Hemker’s algebra students have been learning about key features of linear and non-linear functions. Today, they used these key features as clues to sketch the corresponding graph. They did a remarkable job and had FUN with functions!

Please go to class for attendance first. Practices will start on Monday, October 28th. If you do not have a sports physical on file in the main office or in Big Teams, you will need one before you are able to practice.
