Thursday 8/8
The 6th graders are focused on team building activities. The students had to work together to "walk" from one side of the blacktop to the other. With positive attitudes and great communication skills everyone was successful! We also learned to focus our minds and calm our bodies with Tibetan singing bowls.

The 6th graders have had a blast this week getting to know the middle school! Today they completed team building activities like tarp flipping, reviewed our expectations, practiced mindfulness, and played a lot of games! We are ready for this school year to begin!
Today was a great day full of team building activities! We got to know things about our peers and found out we have a lot in common. Students worked in teams to accomplish cup stacking challenges! We continued to practice mindfulness and calm our bodies when things get stressful.
Monday 8/5
Today we had a great time getting to know each other! Students were finding and opening lockers, touring the building, learning about R.O.A.R.S stamp sheets, and practicing mindfulness when things get tough. Middle school is so much fun!!
These new 6th graders are learning all about DLPMS this week during Boot Camp!! Looks like they are also having a lot of fun with Mrs Hackenberger, Mrs Klein, and Mrs Klingensmith!!
Tuesday 8/6
Today we had so much success with opening our lockers it was AMAZING!! Students had an opportunity to travel from class to class throughout the building. They had fun in the gym during recess playing games and walking the track! We accessed PowerSchool, Google classroom, and even created a digital backpacks!

Last night the Alma DLPMS CSOs were honored at the spring banquet with outstanding club of the year. Members include: Jace Nix, Ava Bailey, Ainsley Falor, advisor Sara Miller, Allison Sandro, Rylan Sherlock, and Bryce Hutchinson.
