Our 6th-grade engineers are hard at work completing their coolers. They are applying what they have learned about the engineering and design process, heat transfer, insulators, and conductors to create a cooler that will keep popsicles from melting!

DLPMS has rescheduled our Parent Connection Night for Thursday, January 25th. If you had an appointment scheduled, we will be contacting you to reschedule.

Due to back road conditions, Alma Public Schools will be operating on our delayed start schedule today, Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Luce Rd. Childcare will open at 7:00 for previously scheduled children.
Safety is a top priority. Alma Public Schools' staff is participating in school safety professional training today. With no students on site and in partnership with Alma Police Department and Secure Environment Consultants, our staff will participate in scenario training. We will use our internal alarms and PA. Please do not be alarmed if you see police presence at Alma High School.
Due to the drifting back roads, Alma Public Schools will be closed Monday, January 15, 2024. Luce Road Childcare will open at 7:00 AM.

Gratiot County is under a winter storm warning. Due to expected hazardous conditions, heavy snow, and high winds, Alma Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 12, 2024. Luce Rd. childcare will also be closed.
