✨ Today, we welcomed about 35 Alma College first-year students as part of their First Year Seminar! ✨
These newest Scots had the chance to learn more about Alma Public Schools, our community, and the wonderful programs we offer. They visited Middle School classrooms and also learned about the Big Brothers Big Sisters Lunch Buddies program at Pine Ave.
We loved the opportunity to share what makes APS such a special part of the Alma community! 🖤🧡

Today Mrs. West’s 7th grade English class did a goal setting lesson in preparation for the Reading NWEA test that starts Monday for all of our middle school students. Students reviewed their past NWEA Reading scores and set goals for this school year. Great job Mrs. West and 7th graders!

Families, please take a moment to read the attached letter from Principal Huntoon regarding upcoming testing. The letter includes important details about testing dates, preparation tips, and how you can support your student during this time.
We appreciate your partnership in helping our students do their very best! 🧡🖤

We’re excited to welcome Mr. Anthony Humm to DLPMS! He’ll be joining us in the PE department this year. We’re looking forward to the energy and enthusiasm he’ll bring to our students and our building. Welcome, Mr. Humm! 💪🏽🐾

Did you know? Missing just a few days of school can have a big impact on learning. At APS, we’re here to support families in building strong attendance habits—because every day counts!

Our DLPMS team is growing! Please join us in welcoming Dawn Steffes, who will be teaching Special Education this year. We’re thrilled to have her as part of our school family. 🐾
