Today, Hillcrest participated in an ALICE drill where we practiced evacuating by going out of the window. Students did a great job during the drill. We hate to have to practice these things, but very important to know what to do in a real situation

We love our nutrition lessons from the RESD! This week, first graders are learning about the benefits of eating broccoli and were able to enjoy a healthy snack!

Students using real world skills of measurement and problem solving!

Just a reminder, we have another Late Start next Wednesday, May 1st.

Arts Night was a huge hit! Such a neat way to show off all the students' hard work from the year and showing off their talents!

During Differentiated Instruction (DI) time, our students are able to read books at the level like book clubs and have discussions about their reading!

We are lucky to have a great organization like Child Advocacy in our community to provide lessons like "Protect Yourself", taught by Ms. Richelle Davis.

2nd grade classes have been going on field trips to Chippewa Nature Center in the past week! Thanks to our PTO for helping to fund these great learning experiences for our students!!
