2nd Grade All-Stars! Way to show your ROARS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJCYW2EoouQ Kindel Aynslee Lehner Aynslee is the All-Star student for March! Aynslee has been working hard to follow her ROARS and be the best she can be. Aynslee is honest, kind, and has a great sense of humor. I have been appreciative of Aynslee's caring and helpful personality. I am so proud of how awesome Aynslee is doing in second grade, she truly is an All-Star Student! Pineiro Hunter Hagerman Hunter has been doing an awesome job following his ROARS and setting a good example in class! He is very kind and always offers to help others. At school, he comes ready to learn and has a positive attitude. He is a great student and is always down to try new things. Keep up the great work! Rogers Ella Chase Ella is a very hard worker. She is very determined to do her best work; even working at home on new skills. She is a great friend to all and offers to help anyone in need. I can count on Ella to follow class rules and follow her ROARS. Keep up the great work Ella. We are so glad you are in our class. Trefil Molly Houtman Molly has been working so hard all year! You can always catch Molly following her ROARS and helping others. Molly has done an excellent job following classroom expectations and participating in classroom discussions. Molly knows no stranger and loves to give compliments and brighten people's day. We are so proud of you, Molly! Peitsch Kalin Smith Kalin is our All-Star for the month of March! Every day Kalin shows up ready to work and do his job. I can always count on him to follow his ROARS and remind others of them. Kalin always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Keep up the amazing work!! Wolfe Conner Harvey Conner is our March All-Star Student. He has been a fantastic role model by showing others that you never give up, no matter how challenging a task is. Conner, I am incredibly proud of your determination to keep on learning with a smile on your face. Keep up this excellent work you have been doing.

She gives us a great example of how to be respectful and responsible all the time. She is a kind friend and a great helper to anyone who needs it. Elsea Alayna Charkowske Alayna is a very hard worker and she is always willing to help me and her peers. Alayna is respectful, responsible, and kind. Thank you Alayna for being so awesome, we appreciate you!! Gage Gabriel Garza Gabe was rocking it in the month of March. He was a stellar student who chose to display his ROARs constantly, Gabe is helpful, kind-hearted, and funny. He is a great example of what a student should look and act like here at Hillcrest Elementary. Thank you for doing your best Gabe. We appreciate you! Guild-Hubbard Emily Heath Emily tries her best in class with all of her assignments. She comes to school every day ready and eager to learn. She gets excited when she makes a connection from the classroom to her experiences outside of school. She loves to talk about her ideas and welcomes input from the other students. Emily also has excellent behavior. She is very cooperative in class. Always willing to help others. She is an example to her peers by showing her ROARS at all times!! Lambert Elijah O’Boyle Elijah is our all-star for the month of March! Elijah sets an example for the whole class by showing his roars every single day. He is a great team player and always willing to help out any of his classmates. He comes to school every day with a great attitude and is always eager to learn something new. Keep up the great work Elijah! Langworthy Madilyn Marr Madilyn is a hard worker who always does her BEST! She loves learning & helping others learn also. She always has a smile on her face & is willing to help out when needed. She constantly follows her ROARS. We are proud to have her a part of our classroom family! Lyon Gracen Keyes Gracen does a splendid job following his ROARS every day! He comes to school eager to learn and is involved in all discussions. Gracen is a wonderful teammate who is always kind, understanding, and helpful. It truly is a pleasure working with Gracen! Thank you for being such an amazing teammate, you are so appreciated! Langworthy Liliana Both Liliana is kind and friendly and sets a positive example for others. She has been working hard on her reading this year. She shows responsibility by being ready to learn. Kendall leads by example in our classroom and gives all she has to each assignment and task. Kendall has honed her writing skills and is kind to all her peers. Keep up the amazing work, Kendall! DeJong Carson Post Carson is our All-Star for March! Carson is so much fun to have in class! He is a hard worker and a great participant in class! He is kind and helpful to others and always works hard to make sure he is doing the right thing. Keep being awesome, Carson! Faustmann/Brake Eleanor Hamstra Eleanor joined our class mid-year, and it has been a joy to have her as a student. Eleanor is a determined young lady who is an "observer" and a "doer". She puts forth her best effort no matter what task she is given. A role model to her peers who always follows her ROARS. I am certain that Eleanor will accomplish great things in her lifetime. Great Job! Greiner Reagyn Nentwig Reagyn has done an absolutely amazing job and is our All-Star for the month of March! Reagyn joined our class midyear and immediately started to show her ROARS each day. She is kind, considerate, and helpful to all. Fantastic job Reagyn, keep being the All-Star that you are! DeJong Talyn Torpey Talyn is always helpful and comes to class ready to work. He works hard at any task that is given to him and tries the best that he can do. He presents his roars in all he does in the classroom with responsibility, respect, and being safe. Lamphere Amelia Fortney Amelia is our star student this month! Amy is a kind and respectful student. She always tries her best and sets a positive example for her peers. Amy comes to school with a smile each day. Keep up your great work, Amy! PE La’Kiah Hayes-(DeJong) La’kiah is our PE student of the month. La’kiah brings a positive attitude to class every day. Her smile is contagious! She does a great job following her ROARS. She is kind and respectful, responsible, and safe. Fabulous job, La’Kiah!

We love having author visits in our classrooms!!! Today, author Jeanneane Wood-Narkter, visited a first grade class and read her book! She also brought activity books, props, and cookies from the book!!

2nd graders are taking field trips to AgroLiquid this week! What a neat expierence for our kiddos! Thanks to our PTO for making this happen!
