Congrats to our 2nd grade Star Students of the Month for February!!! https://youtu.be/ITSBcKeK8os 2nd Peitsch-Reagan Bebow Reagan is a great example of what a student should look like who follows their ROARS. She is always going above and beyond to do her job and to help others. Reagan could not deserve to be the Star Student more. Keep up the great work! Peitsch-Adyson Palmer Adyson is a hard worker who has come a long way already this year. She is a great example of a student who follows her ROARS. I appreciate her focus and dedication to improvement. Adyson also is very caring and empathetic to others. Thanks for being awesome, Adyson! Kindel-Luke Miller Luke does an amazing job of following his ROARS and we couldn't be happier to announce him as our Star Student for February. Every day Luke goes above and beyond to help his peers and be an excellent role model for others. Luke is a hard worker and takes on any challenge with a smile on his face. Keep up the great work Luke, we love to see it! Trefil-Lola Parsons Lola is a perfect example of what it looks like to follow your ROARS. She is always lending a hand with classroom tasks, helping take care of things, and even helping other students. Lola does all of these things without being asked. She is a hard worker and asks great questions. Lola is kind to others and we are so glad she is a part of our class. Keep working hard, Lola! Rogers-Finnley Jones Finnley is our star student of February. He always works hard in everything that he does. He is also one of the first people to help me if I need it. He shows his ROARS every day and I am so glad that he is a part of our class! Keep up the hard work Finnley! Wolfe-Cohen Sherlock Cohen is a hard worker and does a great job following his ROARS. He is a hard worker and never backs down from a challenge! You can always count on Cohen to make you laugh with a funny joke, fill you in with sports scores, and help with classroom tasks. Keep up the incredible work, Cohen! Wolfe-Tayln Torpey Talyn has been doing an amazing job following his ROARS and being a role model for others! He is a hard worker and always tries his best. He loves to laugh and have fun but also gets his work done too. Keep up the great work, Talyn! PE-Nolan Puffpaff (Wolfe) Nolan is our PE student of the month. He shows sportsmanship and is a positive influence on the class. I can count on him to follow directions and be responsible. I appreciate how Nolan pushes himself during activities to see what he is capable of doing. Great job, Nolan!

If you were to see her in action in the classroom, you would see her helping others, responsibly completing her assignments to the best of her ability, and actively participating in classroom discussions. Her sweet demeanor and wonderful sense of humor make her a great friend and role model. Savannah is without a doubt a "STAR" in our classroom! Keep up the incredible work, Savannah! Booms-Siya Tedhams Siya is a great role model in the classroom. She is always following her ROARS and doing the right thing. She comes to class prepared to class and ready to learn. She is a very hard worker that does her job and shows respect to both the teacher and her classmates. She does what is asked the first time and participates every time there is a chance. Siya, please keep up the hard work. Well done! Booms-Vanessa Goetz Venessa is a student who I know I can count on to follow her ROARS. She sets a good example for others. Venessa listens to instructions and works hard to follow directions. Venessa's dedication will take her far in life. Thank you for being you, Venessa! Carroll-Jaclyn Nyugen Jaclyn is our Star Student of the Month. I can depend on Jaclyn to always follow the ROARS. Jaclyn works hard and is very motivated to do quality work in everything that she does. She listens to both adults and other students with respect. Jaclyn has never had to be reminded to follow directions or complete her work, which she does with a positive attitude. Jaclyn definitely has earned this honor by choosing excellent behavior and working hard at school. Greiner-Lily Near Lily is our Star Island Student of the Month! Lily follows her ROARS and is a hard worker. She does a fantastic job of balancing getting her work done in a timely matter, as well as completing her classroom job. Lily also follows directions the first time they are given. She is a role model that others can look up to in class. Great job Lily and congratulations on earning our Star Student of the Month! Lamphere-Katelyn Pick Katelyn is a hard worker and does a great job following directions. She focuses and all her work, and is willing to help other students who need it. Katelyn always shows her ROARS at school. Keep up the great work, congratulations Katelyn! Draher-Carter Vliet Congratulations Carter! Carter is a hard-working student who participates and tries to do his best all the time. He follows his ROARS and works well with others. Carter asks lots of questions and makes connections in class. Carter is a good role model. Music-Kaysen Sanders (Wickes) Kaysen is such an excellent model of his ROARS in his class. I can count on him to be responsible for how he conducts himself in class and as someone who can respectfully remind classmates who need extra help. Kaysen is kind and engaged in music class and is always trying his best when learning new concepts, singing, and performing on instruments. I love having Kaysen's positive attitude in our class!

Our 3rd graders were lucky to have local author, Linda Hoffman, come and talk to them about Haiku poems and her book about Darwin the Dragon. PTO helped to fund a book for each student and students were able to write their own Haikus.
