September 17th is Constitution Day and all classes at Hillcrest participated in activities learning more about our great country!
All of the grades at Hillcrest had the opportunity to attend a dance performance by Academy of Performing Arts at Alma College! What a great experience for our students!!
Today our grades rocked Color War Day!!! Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday!!
Lots and lots of PJs today for Homecoming Spirit Week!!! I hope they don't fall asleep in class!!
This week we our beginning a math program called Number Corner. This skill-building program is very engaging and interactive! This is a daily program that takes about 20 minutes each day. It is based around the monthly calendar and working with patterns.
In honor of Spirit Week, we have multiple high school athletes in our PE classes this week! This is a great way to build school spirit!

We made it through Friday the 13th at Camp Hillcrest!! Next week is HOMECOMING WEEK!!! Make sure to wear PJs on Monday! Also, don't forget about our Title 1 Information Night on Monday!

On Monday, September 16, we will have our Annual Title 1 Information Night at 6 pm at Pine Ave. Directly after that, we will have our September PTO Meeting as well! Come learn about all the great programs we have for our students and stay to become part of a great organization!

3rd Grade parents signed the form for the field trip form this past week and we need all 1st and 2nd-grade parents to fill it out by Tuesday for our Field Trip to Alma College. Each 1st and 2nd grader will be coming home today with their PowerSchool Login form.

Tomorrow is the day that our 3rd graders get to go on an unforgettable field trip to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes to learn more about our wonderful state and its geography! Thank you to the PTO for helping to fund this trip!
