Our 3rd graders are now beginning to take leadership in the building and do the daily morning announcements! They say a joke, the behavior pledge and lead the school in the Pledge of Allegiance!🏝🐾

Students are LOVING our new STEM Special! Think, design, build, and collaborate!!!!

We have begun a new recycling program and we are so excited!! We are thankful for the Alma High School RESD program for helping us take care of the planet!!♻️🏝

Beginning next week, Hillcrest students will be eating in the lunchroom (gym). This will be the first time for most of these students to eat in a lunchroom. We are very excited to roll out this new change! Please see the video for more information. https://youtu.be/4VqgIQxguRk

We have a lot of new signage up in the buildings to help students remember our behavior expectations.

This week our students are beginning to NWEA test! We use the information about where the students are at and help to guide our instruction to see them grow! Please encourage your child to do their best and ask them how they did!

We had lots of tropical shirts today for Tropical T-shirt Tuesday! Here are just a few! The staff rocked it out as well!!

Today we did ROARS Expectations Rotations for each grade. Classes rotated through 10 stations around the building and staff discussed the expectations of each of those locations. The students did a great job!

Very thankful for Gateway Refrigeration and Revolution Electric for working on the weekends to get our air conditioning in and up and running as quickly as they can.

Don’t let the rain stop you from coming out to the Community Tailgate starting at 5:30pm. Hot dogs, chips and water FREE before the game to celebrate our wonderful Alma community & school partnership.

Classes getting to know each other is very important! Students are doing activities where they have a chance to learn about each other!

Drop off and pick up are going awesome! Thanks to the parents for helping to make it quick, safe, and efficient!!! Two thumbs up to the parents!!!
