Due to back road conditions, Alma Public Schools will be operating on our delayed start schedule today, Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Luce Rd. Childcare will open at 7:00 for previously scheduled children.
Safety is a top priority. Alma Public Schools' staff is participating in school safety professional training today. With no students on site and in partnership with Alma Police Department and Secure Environment Consultants, our staff will participate in scenario training. We will use our internal alarms and PA. Please do not be alarmed if you see police presence at Alma High School.

Gratiot County is under a winter storm warning. Due to expected hazardous conditions, heavy snow, and high winds, Alma Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 12, 2024. Luce Rd. childcare will also be closed.

APS has been made aware that text messages have been sent out stating that it is "Stacey Criner" asking for donation gift cards. Please know this is a SCAM. I am not sending messages via text. We are not collecting gift card donations.
Due to bus driver illness, students riding bus G will be picked up an hour late today. If your child rides bus G, you will receive a call from the transportation department. We apologize for the inconvenience.
FRIDAY-End of 1st Trimester-Half Day for HS ONLY
Our child care classroom engaged in several fall activities today. The cat masks were a fan favorite!
Reminder, tomorrow is a late start day. School begins at 11:33am, student drop-off begins at 11:03am. Students will have lunch when they enter the building.
