First day of Summer School! We have about 80 elementary students that are gaining some extra learning opportunities this summer and have lots of fun while doing it!!!
I have received several communications in the last two days citing incorrect information about 5th-grade class sizes. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the central office at 989-466-7512 or scriner@almaschools.net

Please stop by Luce Road ECLC this Wednesday, June 7, between 9:00am-1:00pm to pick up your child's summer reading pack. Luce Road students had so much fun participating in the Fun Run! Our preschool students enjoyed various activities Thursday afternoon as they ran/walked/biked around our bus loop. Kindergarten and 1st grade students enjoyed running/walking on the High School track Friday morning. Thank you to all of the parents, family members, and friends who joined us both days!

Today Officer Mueller led a lesson with all 1st grade classes about gun safety. The phrase he taught them to remember when they see a gun is to Stop, Don't Touch, Run Away, Tell an Adult. He also encouraged the students to ask their families if they had other questions about gun safety. We are very fortunate to have Officer Mueller in our building on a regular basis to not only teach our students valuable lessons, but also to build a positive relationship with them.
