Mrs. Sklener has been an employee of Alma Schools for 20 years. She is currently one of our school social workers.
She enjoys the challenge of working with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. One of the most rewarding things about being a school social worker is helping students learn the skills they need to stay calm and regulated so they can advocate for themselves. She finds it exciting to help students learn the skills they need to be successful at school and in life!
In her spare time Mrs. Sklener likes spending time with her family and being at the beach. She loves practicing yoga.
The best piece of advice she has been given - To just breathe and be present in the moment.
