Students completed an independent Lotus Flower Review to consolidate their understanding of Ancient India. Each student built a 3D paper lotus flower with multiple petals, and each layer represented a different topic from the unit—such as geography, religion, achievements, politics, economy, and society (GRAPES).

At each “station,” students reviewed key information, answered questions, and summarized what they learned on the corresponding petal. As they progressed, they added layers to their flower, symbolizing the growth of their knowledge.

This hands-on review encouraged creativity, organization, and independent learning while providing a visual summary of major Ancient India concepts in preparation for the upcoming unit test.

Our 7th graders got hands-on with chemical engineering this week!

On Day 1, they explored different substances, tested reactions, and made detailed observations. On Day 2, they put their knowledge to the test—combining ingredients in creative ways to design their very own bouncy balls! 🧪⚗️

This lab was the perfect mix of curiosity, problem-solving, and fun. Way to go, future engineers! 👏✨
