Hillcrest students had the experience today of watching a dance performance from Academy of Performing Arts! Many of the dancers were former Hillcrest All-Stars! The students did a great job for following their ROARS while watching!

Congrats to our 3rd Grade All-Stars of the Month!! https://youtu.be/VdYXZ_i4fFc 3rd Wickes-Olyvia Brecht Olyvia is rocking third grade! She sets a positive example for her peers by working hard, giving focused attention during instruction, and being kind to others. Olyvia participates in classroom discussions and volunteers answers. I am so excited to see how Olyvia will continue to grow as we enter the last half of third grade! Keep up the amazing work, Olyvia! DeJong-Roman Litwiller Roman is a great friend to others and always follows his ROARS. He sets a great example in the classroom by following directions, listening, and being respectful to others. Roman is kind and always willing to lend a hand in our classroom. I can always count on him to be a great participant in class and to be a helping hand to those around him. Keep up the amazing work, Roman! Faustmann/Carroll-Nadia Sheets Nadia is a kind-hearted student who is always willing to help others. She works hard in class to achieve her goals. I can count on Nadia to help out whenever there is a project that needs doing. She is well-liked and respected by her peers. Nadia is a great role model to others, as she always follows her ROARS. She is a great student and a pleasure to have in the classroom. Way to go Nadia! Greiner-Amari Rodriguez Amari is our All-Star student of the Month for January! Amari is a kind friend to everyone in class. Amari follows her ROARS daily. I can always count on Amari to participate and build others up around her. She is respectful, considerate, and a leader. Fantastic job Amari, keep being an All-Star! Lamphere-Scarlett Ortiz Scarlett is our January all-star student! Scarlett sets a positive example for peers each day. She always shows her ROARs and works hard. Scarlett is kind and respectful to all adults and students. She tries her best on every assignment, listens attentively, and participates in all our classroom activities. Keep up the great work, Scarlett! Greiner-Luis Lewis Luis works hard in our small group. He is a leader in our group and is great at helping out with the other students. I really enjoy working with Luis every day! Keep being Panthermazing, Luis! Greiner-Lola Parsons Lola has been doing a great job showing her ROARS this month. She is very respectful to her classmates and does her best every day. She's a great addition to any group and I look forward to seeing her smile every morning. Music-Savannah Ash (DeJong) Congratulations to Savannah for earning student of the month for Music. She is always responsible and respectful to others. She is an amazing leader for her peers. I can always count on her to try her best in music class. She is always following her ROARS. Keep up the great work! PE-Leila Gifford (Greiner) Congratulations to Leila for being the PE student of the Month. She does a great job day after day being responsible, respectful, and safe. Leila participates in class discussions, tries new activities with a positive attitude, and is kind to her classmates. Awesome job Laila, keep up the good work!
