Fourth graders had a blast at the John Ball Zoo last Friday.


Pine Avenue has two winners from the Alma Lodge #244 F & AM Essay Contest. Both Students will receive a new bike and a new helmet. Congratulations to Jacob Snyder and Victoria Zimmerman!


Today, Hillcrest students celebrated the end of the year with a Bookworms Gallery Walk. Each student wrote or created a video about their favorite book they read and each class walked around and looked at all the favorites! Check out the video: https://youtu.be/NBC-XD-5uas

Hillcrest Student Council members completed some community service this week and helped to clean up a park in town!








I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!! These students raised enough money to have ice cream with me today from the Fun Run fundraiser! Thank you to everyone that helped to support these students and our PTO!!

Last night the Alma DLPMS CSOs were honored at the spring banquet with outstanding club of the year. Members include: Jace Nix, Ava Bailey, Ainsley Falor, advisor Sara Miller, Allison Sandro, Rylan Sherlock, and Bryce Hutchinson.

Our 3rd graders had the amazing opportunity of going to the State Capital Building as well as the Michigan History Museum in Lansing, bringing learning to life! Thanks to the PTO for helping to fund wonderful trips like these for our students!




A HUGE thank you to Mercantile Bank and United Way for providing Summer Activity Kits to all of our 1st graders!!!
