Please help us welcome Mr. Jeffrey Jackson! It is with enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of Alma High School. My name is Jeff Jackson and I am honored to have this opportunity to become a part of the Alma Public Schools educational community. I am looking forward to working in partnership with staff, students, and parents, to continue nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of all students. Some of my interests include, spending time with family, watching all types of athletics, health, fitness, golf and educating youth. I was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. I am the proud father of two and grandfather of four wonderful and beautiful children. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as a Master in Educational Administration. I am a retired Principal from Beal City Public Schools. While at Beal City Public Schools I taught every grade but Kindergarten, was an Elementary Principal, an Assistant Principal/AD and the 7-12 Principal for my last several years. I have been retired for six years and have been working with CMU the past 4 1/2 years as a University Coordinator for Student Teachers. As the Assistant Principal, I will work to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to maintain a positive and safe learning environment where every student is provided the support and resources necessary to reach their fullest potential. I, believe that our students are our future, and it takes all of us to be engaged in their education. Go Panther’s!
