Join us tomorrow for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new School-Based Health Center at Donald L. Pavlik Middle School. The event will take place from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Following the ceremony you will have the opportunity to meet the Family Nurse Practitioner, Angie Bratschi and a tour the new space!

Thank you to Live Well Gratiot and The Gratiot County Community Foundation for their generosity! We received 20 pre-filled backpacks and 100 notebooks yesterday to help APS students start the school year off strong. We're so thankful for our generous community!

Today, students at Hillcrest reviewed the expectations for following their ROARS on the bus and during lunch.




Today, Hedi Dancer and Amanda Tucker from Aludyne surprised Pine Avenue with school supplies. Thank you to all the employees at Aludyne for your generous gift.

Celebrating community night and the first kickoff on our new turf! It is not too late to come join the fun.

Be sure to join us on September 16th at 6pm at Pine Avenue Elementary school for our annual Title 1 meeting. During this meeting we will be discussing APS's Title 1 program and services.

Mrs. Hancock teaches our new elementary special, Social Emotional Learning. She is doing a tremendous job teaching our students about teamwork, self confidence, and managing our emotions, along with many other important concepts for our students to learn!

The MS Cross Country meet in Ithaca has been POSTPONED until tomorrow, 8/28, the times will remain the same.
Mrs. Kemler visited Mrs. Haggart's science classes to release butterflies!










Third graders at Hillcrest lead the building in the morning announcements each day. They tell a joke, remind students of their ROARS and lead the Pledge of Allegiance. They are great leaders for our younger students!

A couple of our 3rd grade classes were able to an activity at Alma Public Library today in partnership with Alma College.





The 1st graders have done a GREAT job this week adjusting to life at Camp Hillcrest!!





A group of our seniors will be appearing on WNEM TV5 Wake-Up at 6 A.M. on Friday, August 23rd.
If you miss the 6 A.M. Cold Open, don't worry, we will also be airing the clip of them again at 6:30 A.M.
