1st grade students had the RESD Nutrition lessons today with a focus on hand washing! That is the perfect lesson for this time of year!

CMU STEM Experience for our 3rd graders this week! Students working on coding and creating movement in a robot! Thanks to PTO for awesome experiences like this for our students!



Due to bus driver illness, students riding bus G will be picked up an hour late today. If your child rides bus G, you will receive a call from the transportation department. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This group of (mostly) NHS members met at 6am today to peel 200 pounds of potatoes and help set up for the community Thanksgiving dinner.










Mrs. Lyon's 1st grade class had their own Thanksgiving Parade with ballon floats they designed! Someday we might see these designs on tv for the actual parade!




November's Panthers in the Spotlight.

Mrs. Benjamin's 1st grade class wanted to show how thankful they were to all of our staff members by delivering snacks and making them cards.




3rd graders have been working very hard on their writing and classes have completed a culmination project for the book The BFG!


Thank you, PTO, for your partnership in educating our children. We appreciate your time and dedication to our students at Pine Avenue. Donuts with Grownups is one example of the many events they sponsor for students and their families. This event was a huge success!

This past weekend, the AHS Student Council volunteered at the "North Pole" to help with the Polar Express train. Our students were helping there both Saturday and Sunday.







Yesterday, for the first day of Tri 2, Student Council handed out supplies! Pencils, folders, notebooks! They were a hit!

The application window to become a Sex Education Advisory Board member has reopened. We are exclusively looking for two (2) parents from Pine Avenue, one (1) parent of an 11/12 grade student, one (1) community health professional, and one (1) clergy member. The application window will remain open until December 1st at 3 pm. Our Health 6 students at DLPMS are wrapping up the trimester by learning how to administer an EpiPen. Remember: Blue to the sky; Orange to the thigh! (Thank you Mrs. Hancock for your donation of the EpiPen Trainer.)
