Wow!! Our students at Hillcrest did a great job brining in change for Coins for a Cause! We are so happy to partner with United Way to help raise awareness for homelessness in Gratiot County.

The application window for the Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB) has been extended! We're still seeking passionate individuals to join us for the December 2024 – December 2025 term.
New Deadline: Applications will now be accepted through December 5th, 2024.
The SEAB plays a vital role in ensuring our comprehensive sexual health program is effective and meets the needs of our students. We're looking for a diverse group of individuals representing various viewpoints within the community.

Hillcrest Elementary (2 positions); Pine Avenue Elementary (2 positions);Donald L. Pavlik Middle School (2 positions), Alma High School (9th/10th grade - 2 positions, 11th/12th grade - 2 positions)

We have a lot of turkeys in the building this week! So neat to see the student's creativity!










There was an accident after school at the corner of Pine Avenue and Washington. It did not involve Alma Public Schools' staff or students. Alma Police Department and the appropriate responders handled the situation. Bus arrivals home may be slightly later than usual.

Our 2nd graders were able to go to the Alma College Science Blowout and learn about chemistry, health science, leaves, and bats!! We are so lucky to have great partnerships with Alma College to provide these opportunities for our students!

2nd Grade classes have had Junior Achievement lessons focusing on understanding concepts about money. We are lucky to have so much community support in our district!
