Health Science Career students at the Alma campus worked on bed mobility and positioning skills. These skills are vital for patient care and safety. Our future healthcare professionals are doing a fantastic job...and with a smile!

New to the Alma Campus this year is the MA program, which provides the opportunity for students to graduate with a Medical Assistant license. This opportunity can save students up to two years of additional education, giving them a head start on a career in the medical field!
Students finished up learning about the role of the MA and jumped into learning basic pharmacology. Students played Trashbucket, a review game that focuses on test content. Students also learned how to open an ampule (a medication container). Students will learn next week how to draw up the medication and administer it into a simulator for practice.

Officer Jurkovich from Alma Police Department spent some time teaching Criminal Justice students defensive tactics. Students used a partner to learn and practice different moves.

The Alma Campus Auto class would like to thank a very generous community member for donating this car to the Auto Technology program, and ASAP Towing for donating the delivery of the vehicle to the school. Our students will benefit greatly from this generosity! THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to our students and families for helping us get off to such a positive start with our new cell phone policy. Your support and cooperation have made the transition smooth and successful, and we are already seeing the benefits of students being more engaged and focused in class. We appreciate your partnership as we continue building a learning environment where everyone can thrive.

The 2024-2025 "A Year Worth Watching" yearbooks have arrived! Current students who ordered a book may pick it up in C-303. Last year's graduates may have a sibling or friend pick up their copy or email ahsyearbook@almaschools.net to have it left in the office or to make other arrangements.

Did you know? Missing just a few days of school can have a big impact on learning. At APS, we’re here to support families in building strong attendance habits—because every day counts!

Although there wasn't much sun, over 60 Alma High School students made it out to the football field early this morning for the Senior Sunrise. Thank you to CMYFC: Campus Life for the donuts. These seniors are ready for the school year!

Because of the inclement weather tomorrow morning, the Senior Sunrise will be postponed until Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m. We hope to see all of the seniors then!
