Last week, all Michigan school administrators received an alert that threat analysts with the Office of School Safety, Michigan State Police, were seeing an increase in spam Snapchat and TikTok threats circulating. Over the weekend, the Alma Police Department was notified and investigated local posts referencing DLPMS. The investigation uncovered that the original post was NOT Donald L. Pavlik but a different elementary school with “Ronald” in the name. I ask parents to help stop the distribution of spam information and encourage their children to tell adults if they see threatening posts so they can call the Alma Police Department or OK2Say https://www.michigan.gov/ok2say.
On Monday, September 16, we will have our Annual Title 1 Information Night at 6 pm at Pine Ave. Directly after that, we will have our September PTO Meeting as well! Come learn about all the great programs we have for our students and stay to become part of a great organization!
