Mark your calendars for this important and open discussion with Superintendent Criner regarding the upcoming bond election on May 6, 2025.

On behalf of everyone at Alma Public Schools, it is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of our beloved bus driver, Dave Covington, this morning before his route started. He was not only a dedicated bus driver for our daily routes but also played a vital role in transporting our athletes to numerous events over the years.
His commitment, kindness, and presence will be greatly missed by colleagues, students, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

We are in our third year of implementation with our K-5 ELA program, Bookworms. Our students are making great gains as they work on all different aspects of reading and writing daily!

Alma Public Schools is committed to providing students with safe, supportive learning environments that promote growth and achievement. The Board of Education is introducing a bond proposal on the May ballot, seeking $29.9 million to fund critical facility upgrades, technology improvements, and safety enhancements — all without increasing the current millage tax rate. This proposal invites the community to invest in student success and ensure that Alma schools remain a strong, future-ready foundation for generations to come.
