Wednesday, April 12th
Freshman - PSAT 9 Testing 8:10-12:00 (Report to Gym)
Sophomores - PSAT 10 Testing 8:10-12:00 (Report to Cafeteria)
Juniors - SAT Testing 8:10-1:00 (Assigned Locations in A Section)
Seniors - No School – Complete Required Student Survey (Check your email on 4/12)
When testing has been completed students will be dismissed from school. This will be earlier than usual. Normal bus transportation will be provided in the morning, however students will need to make arrangements for transportation home after their testing session has ended. Students will also not have access to their lockers during any testing sessions. The school will be providing a bag lunch for students on April 12th before they leave for the day.
Thursday, April 13th
Juniors - WorkKeys & M-Step 8:10-3:10 (Report to Gym)
All Other Students - All day classes as regularly scheduled.
Additional Testing Reminders
-Bring a calculator if you have one. We have a limited number of additional calculators.
-Electronic devices are PROHIBITED. Leave them at home or in your vehicle.-Bring a number 2 pencil (we will provide extras).
-Bring your school ID or driver's license if you have one.

Students in Life Skills visited Alma College to learn about personal care, banking/budgeting, career opportunities, and self-awareness. Thank you, Ms. Wirgau for your help in organizing this event and to all of our Alma College presenters. Our students greatly appreciated your time and expertise!

March was Reading Month and Mrs. Brecht had a drawing in the library where students could put their names in it by checking out books or returning them on time. Thank you to all the students that participated. The winner drawn before spring break was Vincent Yang.

Thank you to our custodial and maintenance staff for your work over spring break! Lots of deep cleaning, floor waxing, and painting took place while we were gone.

Officer March has been doing🔥 fighter training with our Criminal Justice students.

FFA students from AHS went to Hillcrest to read a book to 2nd grade students and do an activity about the importance of plants!







It's the week before spring break, it's a 4 day week, and we have a spirit week taking place, so it's fitting that today is the International Day of Happiness!

We will be creating a Community Advisory Council (CAC) to assist in planning, implementation, and ongoing operations of the school based health center. Mr. March's Dodgers emerged as our Advisory Dodgeball Tournament Champions! Thanks you to Mrs. Goffnett's Advisory class and Mr. and Mrs. Henry's classes for your help running the tournament!



Mrs. Comden is representing GI Tech Alma campus at Ashley School's job fair tonight. She's promoting our outstanding programs here at AHS - Health Occupations, Criminal Justice/Public Safety, Agriscience, Pre-engineering, Welding, and Auto Tech.
