Daily Bulletin - Wednesday, November 16, 2022 Scholar Athlete Award: WHAT IS THE SCHOLAR-ATHLETE AWARD? For 34 years, the MHSAA and Farm Bureau Insurance have honored the best student-athletes in Michigan. Again this year they will award 32 students with $2,000 scholarships based on achievement and leadership in athletics and activities, as well as responses to short-answer and essay questions. In many ways, this is the most prestigious honor the MHSAA awards annually. Information and simple instructions are located in the student services office. The deadline for these applications are on Friday, Dec. 2, at 4:00 p.m. Attention Students: All absences must be excused by parents within 5 days after the absence or they will not be excused. If you leave the school for any reason you must check IN and OUT with Ms. Sweet in the attendance/SRC office or you will not be excused. Please have parents pre-arrange all other absences or appointments. Students: November is Homeless Awareness Month and we’re excited to be partnering with United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties to raise money for Gratiot County Hope House through a coin war challenge called “Coins for a Cause”! Start saving and collecting your coins for your Advisory classroom! The Advisory classroom that raises the most amount of money will win a PIZZA PARTY Students: Come join the Alma FFA for this month's chapter meeting, Thursday, November 17th at 3:30, in the Ag room G704! We will go over upcoming events and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.

Students in Life Skills delivered care packages and pillows to those with breast cancer at Alma’s MidMichigan Cancer Center. We are incredibly thankful for the support of our community in funding this project by purchasing our program’s chocolates through the month of October.
