Last week's Panther Buck winners!
Cruz Newville, Connor Musser, Luke Chouinard, Faith DePriest, and Vincent Lux.

Thank you to our students and families for helping us get off to such a positive start with our new cell phone policy. Your support and cooperation have made the transition smooth and successful, and we are already seeing the benefits of students being more engaged and focused in class. We appreciate your partnership as we continue building a learning environment where everyone can thrive.

The 2024-2025 "A Year Worth Watching" yearbooks have arrived! Current students who ordered a book may pick it up in C-303. Last year's graduates may have a sibling or friend pick up their copy or email ahsyearbook@almaschools.net to have it left in the office or to make other arrangements.

Did you know? Missing just a few days of school can have a big impact on learning. At APS, we’re here to support families in building strong attendance habits—because every day counts!

Although there wasn't much sun, over 60 Alma High School students made it out to the football field early this morning for the Senior Sunrise. Thank you to CMYFC: Campus Life for the donuts. These seniors are ready for the school year!

Because of the inclement weather tomorrow morning, the Senior Sunrise will be postponed until Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m. We hope to see all of the seniors then!
Great news! Pine Ave construction has been completed. As we return to our "normal" routine, please view the attached map on how to proceed. Thanks to everyone for your patience in this construction process.
**All student drop offs before & after school need to occur in the South student lot. The circle drive in front of the school is our bus loop during these times.

REMINDER: Survey closes tomorrow at 4 pm if you have not yet completed.

The Alma High School Class of 2026 is invited to kick off senior year with a beautiful Senior Sunrise on Tuesday, August 19th. Seniors should meet on the football field around 6:15 AM to watch the sunrise together and celebrate the start of their final year. Doughnuts will be provided by YFC, and students are encouraged to bring their own beverages (only water is allowed on the football field). Don’t miss this special tradition to make memories with your classmates on the first day of school!

DLPMS & High School staff participated in professional development today on "Teaching Students to Drive Their Learning."

We are looking forward to the beginning of the 2025-26 school year!

As we prepare for the 2025-26 school year, we are asking all families to log in to their PowerSchool account and sign the annual forms for each student.

Summer Office Hours.

Due to scheduled water main work, the high school will be without water. The office will be closed on Tuesday but will resume regular scheduled hours on Wednesday.

The Senior Walk is a fantastic tradition at Alma Public Schools, and here's the video of the Class of 2025's stroll through all of the buildings. Enjoy the smiles, tears, and laughter as the seniors say goodbye to APS!

The Alma High School seniors enjoyed one more big event together, tackling the roller coasters at Cedar Point on Monday. Special thank you to the Senior All-Night Party Committee for renting vans to bring extra kids on the trip.

This week's Panther Buck Winners are Trenton Rest, Nevaeh Butler, Aisha Dell, Allison Wenzel, and Jayden Jelinek.

AHS Children's Literature class went to Luce Rd. & Hillcrest to read and work with our young panthers.
