Excellent concert tonight put on by Ms. Juliana Rowley and the HS Mixed Choir & Chamber Singers!




This month Alma High School has been hosting our elementary PE students for swim lessons! We are grateful for the facilities which allow us to offer these unique experiences for our students!

CTE students in the Health Occupation 2 class learn how to draw blood in the Phlebotomy Lab! They used simulation arms to perform the skill. They will use these skills as they further their education in the healthcare field!




Today was the MSVMA’s District Festival, where Chamber Choir received an Excellent rating, and Mixed Choir received a Good! Great work Panthers!


Many great representatives of APS showcased their talents at last night’s United Way Arts United event, including AHS 9th grader Addison Cooley. Great work by everyone who helped the United Way raise over $82,000!

Here are our Panthers in the Spotlight for February. These students have been recognized by their teachers for positive actions, good deeds, and leadership.

Six Alma High School Student Council members traveled to Grand Rapids this weekend to attend the Michigan Association of Student Council’s annual conference. They listened to speakers, networked with other students from across Michigan, and brought back valuable ideas for AHS.

Alma Public Schools will be closed on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Three AHS senior art students, Joely Guo, Amber Tedhams, and Jazmyne Cushman all volunteered, planned, and taught an art class on Pointillism to youth at the Alma Community Art Center this week.


We are over half way through National FFA week. We hope to see you in your Blue and Gold on Thursday!

Today’s AHS teacher led PD started with some Family Feud! It was a great way to get staff energized and engaged with our topics.


Thank you AHS Student Council for raising money for Angelman Syndrome research and thank you to all that made donations!

Prior to tonight’s varsity game, Alma Basketball and Coach Brown honored long time Swan Valley Assistant coach Craig Monahan, who will be retiring at the end of this season. Coach Monahan has amassed over 500 wins coaching various levels of basketball, but more importantly has positively impacted the lives of countless young adults. It has been a pleasure competing against you coach!
