Last night at the regular Board of Education meeting, a decision was made to offer two childcare (age 3 & 4) classrooms and one preschool classroom housed at Luce Road Early Childhood Learning Center beginning the 2023-2024 school year. It was important to share this communication today, and you can expect to hear more about this exciting change in the coming weeks and months.

Based on the information collected in our last survey, there is significant interest in Alma Public Schools offering daycare. Please understand that daycare is different than before and after-school care. Alma Public Schools is moving forward with after-school care options as soon as this year and will provide information as soon as the program is developed. Winter Formal is a go! Please take the necessary precautions to ensure safe travels, and families should make decisions about dance attendance and transportation that reflects what they feel is in their child’s best interest. Also, there are NO ticket sales at the door. Tickets had to be purchased in advance and dance guest forms were to be submitted and approved before the end of the school day yesterday.
Winter Formal is tonight, and the winter weather is here too. We are monitoring the conditions and forecast, and if the decision is made to postpone the dance we will post/send a notification between 3:00 and 4:00.
